Lewis, Chris & Matt were down south at the weekend riding the Bath Road Club National Junior Series RR in Buckinghamshire. A quality field made for a hard race right from the start and straight away a small group got off the front and Chris was up there in the leading group at the end of the first lap. Jerrod was over in York with his boys to take part in the Crits supporting the Nat Crit Series event. Both boys were top 3 I think, with Dad in the support event. The race was made up of lots of little attacks, Jerrod in one or two, but none seemed to have the needed impetus. A bunch sprint was the order of the day, Jerrid was well placed, but another rider collided with him, but he still came 4th!
A trip to near Scotland was the order of the day, the weather was not great and would make for a hard race. The 3/4 set off with Luke and Grant for the team. The race mainly stayed together but Luke fell victim to a puncture, Grant was active but got boxed in the sprint, and made the top 20. In the Elites race the man to watch was Richard Handley, he was marked from the start, and a small group formed eventually behind him. James had just been up the road, and so missed this one, as did Andy. Read more ...

Returning from Dubai, via some racing in Belgium, Jamie Shirlaw was riding his first event in Britain this year and attacked from the start taking Andrew Pickering with him and staying away.
With these riders teams blocking Julian tried to bridge the gap alone and almost made it but it was too big an ask for a lone rider. Steve and Julian then made sure they were either in every move or kept them to a distance they could close. Read more ...

The team was undertaking it's first proper outing at a Premier. Steve, Dafydd, James and Andy were riding with Roger, Stacey and Martin in support. The day started with a near miss, we slightly misjudged a low height barrier, which resulted in a close scrape for the bikes! Then the prep started. James's Dad and Mum helped at the feed, and Martin, Stacey and Roger manned the car. The race started quickly, and Dafydd with Steve helped keep the duo of James and Andy in the front for the main circuit. Read more ...

They were all involved in competing in a brisk race. Read more ...
Luke rode the support event at Colne and continued his improving form to be involved from the start. The race was mainly a succession of attacking moves, Luke was in a few, then was in the final sprint, but was blocked and got an excellent 7th. In the main event James and Andy rode for a warm up for the weekends Premier Calendar at Beverley. The race was hard and fast, both Riders were in the mix all race and finished comfortably in the bunch, gaining valuable experience.
