The aim for Sunday was for teamwallis-CHH to get two riders in the top-ten in the Regional B race at Treales and we managed it beautifully, with John Sherriffs 3rd and Martin Wallis 8th.
Lewis, our sole entrant in the National B race, also got a great 16th place in that and the day was topped off with Andy Coupe receiving his prize for winning the CDNW league (photo, right). Read more ...

In the 3/4 race, John Sherriffs was 11th and Andy McCann 38th.
Well done everyone who has been plugging away at the Preston Arena all season and amassing plenty of points for the team. Sorry no-one has listed every indivdual point scored, but I know Andy Coupe, Eldon, Lewis, Iain, Steve and John all appear in the league tables, with others providing valuable support during the season.
And welcome back to racing for Martin, after having to devote most of his energies to running the team and the shop, with an eighth place on the 20th August.
Sunday saw 7 Team riders make the long trip to compete in the Smithfields RR near Carlisle. On a wet and windy day Martin made his return (joy) and Eldon, Andy Coupe and Steve Abbott started the Elite race, with Martin, John Sherriffs, Grant Omerod and European Champ Ella starting the 3/4's. It was hard going and the weather did not help, in the 3/4's event there was small groups kept trying to get away but no one managed to stay out and it kept together for the usual hectic finish with Grant in the mix and Ella first Lady. Well done to Tom Moses for placing 20th in the Elite Colne GP and John Sherriffs for 10th in the support race on 15th July.
Andy Coupe secured a fantastic win for teamwallis-CHH at the National B race at Lazonby today, with the hilly course favouring his style and rewarding his attacking approach. In the race for Elite and 1st and 2nd category riders, Andy won the sprint in a select bunch of seven riders who had a lead of over a minute on the remainder of the field at the finish. Read more ...
