Update on Andy, 6th Feb

Andy is now on the road to recovery after his second was completed with great success. He is feeling a bit better now he is able to finally eat, and will soon be able to receive visitors. We will update when he is ready with the ward details etc. I would like again to pass on mine, Amanda, and Andy's thanks for all the support. The accident was caused by an elderly man turning across the A6, he did not see Andy he claims, and Andy hit the windscreen/A pillar of the car. His helmet undoubtably saved him from further injury. Update on Andy, 4th Feb

Andy is making slow but steady progress, and is due another op tomorrow. He has requested no visitors for the moment, and would like to thank everyone for their support, he is not up to visitors just yet, but please feel free to post on his facebook page.

Update on Chid

Andy has had his operation, his leg has been pinned, and hip repaired, it was a long operation of 8hrs +. He is now in recovery, and doing ok, just in a lot of pain. Amanda has asked for people not to visit at the moment, as Andy is not upto it, please feel free to leave messages on here, or my facebook page.

McCann Injured In Road Traffic Accident

Teamwallis-CHH can confirm that one of its riders, Andy McCann, was today injured in a road traffic accident. The exact details of the incident are not yet known, but we can confirm that it occurred on the A6 near Forton just south of Lancaster. We are happy to say that Andy’s injuries are not life threatening, but that he has suffered a double fracture of his right leg and a broken hip. Read more ...

20120128 Foil and Addict

That's the work done, all the team bikes are now ready. For this season, as said earlier, the juniors are on the new Foil, and the U23 on a mix of Addicts and Foils. We are now in a position to let you know we have a couple of new sponsors for the 2012 season. We have continued support from CHH, Telent, Powerbar, Continental, WRC and Approved Inspectors. The season is nearly upon us! We are just putting the finishing touches to everything before the sesaon starts. Dafydd is down in Abersytwyth with the U23 team working on Hills and Drills in prep for the Premier Calendar Series, I will be joining him later on, just putting the finishing touches to the bikes for this year. The U23 will be using a mix of Scott Addicts, and Foils due to the limited availability of the Foil, and the fact the Addict still is a great bike. Read more ...

Gullen Moving On

James Gullen has left team wallis-CHH and will ride for the new Metaltek - Scott outfit in 2012. The 21 year old Yorkshireman has spent several seasons with wallis-CHH, during which time his talent has progressed significantly, a point that Gullen was happy to point out up on announcing his news. Matt rides the Worlds

Matt at the Worlds

Matthew Holmes was today in action riding for Great Britain at the World Champs in Copenhagen. The race was won by French rider Henri-Pierre Lecuisinier, Matt was active in the race, making one of the breaks of the day, and gained some great experience of racing at the biggest stage for a junior.

Harry gets the teams 50th Race win of the season

Harry's win at the Prissick event is the teams 50th win this season, a great achievement from the team, welldone all the guys, next season, with a madison sling from someone like Harry, I may even get one!
