Help for Theresa?

Last year, in her first 24hr time-trial, Theresa was 2nd Lady in the National 24hr event. She was leading the many-times winner until the final 6hrs and has a real chance of taking a national title for the team. However, she can't do this on her own and could do with some team support, passing up bottles and food and so on.

The event is near Whitchurch (about an hour from Preston), starts on Sat 24th July and finishes Sun 25th July. If you can help at any time, but especially some time between 2am and 10am on Sun 25th July, then please contact Theresa

Thanks

Border City Wheelers hosted the final event of the 2010 Lakes & Lancs Spoco series on the Circuit of Greystoke Forest on 3rd July.

On the heavy and hilly 22 mile circuit James took 3rd place with 51.42 and Andy 4th with 51.50 to winner Jimmy Wright’s 50.32. With Julian fastest junior with 57.07 the team win was assured but back up was provided by Nev with 1.01.34. Theresa was 2nd fastest lady with 1.08.05. Read more ...

PB's all round!

In an early season showing of great form, Grant, Ed and Theresa all came away from Levens on Saturday with personal bests.

The Lancashire Road Club 10 mile time trial had a large field of 160 entrants. Grant was the top-placed teamwallis-CHH rider, finishing 17th overall, with a blistering time of 21 minutes 37 seconds, an average speed of almost 28 miles per hour. Ed was close behind, in 21st place, breaking the 22 minute barrier with a 21:57. Theresa was the 5th fastest lady, completing the 10 mile course in 23 minutes 38 second.

Well done all!

National 12hr Championships

Theresa Taylor was in action again in another epic timetrial event. On a blustery day she manged a fantastic ride of 223miles and 3rd Lady in the event, how she does it I will never know.

Helpers for Theresa

Can you spare a few hours on Sunday 16th August?

teamwallis-CHH glutton for punishment Theresa Taylor, fresh from her fantastic 2nd place in the Women's National 24 hour time-trial, is taking part in the 12 hour event on the 16th. The course is again near Whitchurch, just over an hour from Preston. She already has a volunteer to cover the early morning stretch, but we could really do with some helpers to pass up food and drink and so on later in the day.

Please let Theresa know asap if you can help.
