Andy Coupe secured a fantastic win for teamwallis-CHH at the National B race at Lazonby today, with the hilly course favouring his style and rewarding his attacking approach. In the race for Elite and 1st and 2nd category riders, Andy won the sprint in a select bunch of seven riders who had a lead of over a minute on the remainder of the field at the finish.

Steve Abbott also finished in the points, in 17th place.

In the supporting 3/4 race, John Sherriffs, Andy McCann and Michael Horne all finished in the leading bunch, with John just tantalisingly outside the points, in 11th place. Gareth Longbottom also finished well, somewhat behind the bunch.
