teamwallis-CHH had a dabble at time-trialling today and came away with the team and ladies prizes! |
At the West Pennine 14.6 mile hilly time trial from Knowle Green, one lap of the Bashall Eaves short circuit, and back, Theresa kept up her great record in time-trials and won the Ladies' prize.
James was third in his first TT of the year, while Andy Coupe was just behind in fourth on his first time on a time-trial bike! Along with Andy McCann's ride, that was enough to comfortably win the prize for the fastest team of three, with Martin, Grant and Steve (still suffering from
a stomach bug) close behind. Prize money which is a welcome addition to team funds to help support our junior riders as they travel to races all over the country.
We're all now on the way up to Carlisle to see if we can keep this up in a 25-mile hilly time trial which crosses the English-Scottish border.
